Game of Thrones Cake

Summer is coming boys and girls. It's that time of year where you have to patiently wait until the new season of Game of Thrones starts. The person who ordered the cake was a big fanatic of the series, so I had to be extra cautious on the details whilst decorating this cake. As far as I remember this was the first time I did a movie/TV show related cake, so I had every reason to be excited. The basics of the cake was really easy to make and didn't take any extra time decorating it. All I had to do was make a white fondant and cover the cake smoothly, by doing that 50% of the work was done. The next step of decorating the cake was a bit tricky to make as the chair "throne" it self had a lot of details on it. Basically, the throne was full of swords, so it had to look really good otherwise, the details would've been overshadowed and the end process would be awful. Once I've managed to put everything in order, it was time for the coloring of the throne, which I have done it with a brush to give that shiny look. In the end all I had to do was pour some red color on the cake in order to look like blood dripping through the throne. This was one odd cake to decorate. After all, It's not everyday when you pour blood on top of the cake!

  1. 250g softened butter.
  2. 100ml strong black coffee.

Frozen Cake

Here's something the little girls would go crazy for as I recently found out. This Frozen cake took longer than usual to decorate due to me being surrounded by the girls throughout the whole process of decorating, from scratch. I have to admit though, I also got bit of help from the girls as they were passing me all the necessary tools for the cake to be finished ahead of time! They were really fun to work with!  😃

They were extremely excited to see the final stages of the cake being decorated. So there were lots of screaming and jumping in the kitchen, with a sleepless night they finally made it. No more screaming from the kids, at last! 😃

As you can see the cake turned out to be pretty amazing. The girls loved it. They couldn't take the eyes off the cake and the birthday party was really great, they had lots of fun by playing and singing together throughout the party. I guess, you could say that every cake has it's own fairy tail!

Minnie Mouse Cake

Back at it again! Hi, guys! It is always a great feeling when you decorate a cake from scratch to finish. The joy you get once you've done with your work is really amazing and honestly, quite breathtaking most of the times. And that's mainly because you always put an extra effort into decorating a cake.

Before you start with your work, you always have an idea on how it's going to look like once it's all finished. However, that's not always the case, because, there's always room for improvement and improvisation and I always get caught to it. Whilst decorating, I always add up couple of small details into my cakes, the concept stays the same but the little added details makes all the difference once it's all finished.

The little girl really liked this Minnie Mouse Cake, so I hope you all like it as well! ;)

Engagement Cake

Hello, everyone! It's been a while since I've shared my work with you guys. It has been a very busy year and finally, I've got some time on my hands to do some bit of work without getting my hands all dirty. ;)

This lovely four tiered engagement cake is one of my favorite designs for me to decorate. It's very simple and it's elegant design really flourishes to the human eye. The red flowers certainly give this cake a whole new look especially, with those red layered ribbons. When I started decorating this cake my primary thought was to make it look all white. However, halfway through my decorating process I thought If I added a bit of red in this cake for the contrast that it will look really beautiful and catchy to the human eye. So the end product turned out to be a real master peace!

As far as, the flavoring goes the first and third tier were chocolate filled cake whilst the second and fourth tier were a red velvet filling.

I hope you guys like what you see. So, until next time, have a great weekend!

Elegant Birthday Cake Design

Summertime may be long gone, but that won't stop us to enjoy eating a delicious peace of cake in this cold autumn season.

This elegant ribbon cake design is probably one of the easiest ways you can decorate your cake. And it certainly doesn't require any craftsmanship skills in order for you to decorate a similar cake design like this particular one. All you have to do after covering the cake with fondant, is to make another layer of fondant, with any color you would like, on a flat surface. After you've all done those steps, get yourself a cutting tool, (knife, pizza cutter, etc.) and cut the ribbons in any shape or form you would feel like so it would fit your idea of decorating your cake. Finally. grab those ribbons you've just cut, and place it in a way you like on the cake.

Get paid online with Payoneer

One of the biggest obstacles of being a freelancer working outside the US is off course the inability to use PayPal effectively. This is off course the method most used by companies to pay freelancers working from home, online.

To bypass these restrictions there are only a few methods that really work.

This time we are going to talk about Payoneer. And their Payoneer MasterCard debit card.

A great solution through which you can get paid working line with no hassle, and plus you get 25 USD by signing up with our referral links.

Let’s get started point by point the way in which this can be done.

What is the Payoneer MasterCard Debit Card?

Payoneer MasterCard Debit Card

Payoneer are true ‘pioneers’ in the Payoneer global payment processor sector and there isn’t an easy comparison to be made between Payoneer and other services like it.

What is Payoneer?

Payoneer is a global payment processor similar to PayPal which promises a safe and affordable online payment solution  for international freelancers, affiliate marketers, and others who make money online and need to get paid in their home country.

The Payoneer prepaid MasterCard works like any other re-loadable MasterCard prepaid debit card that you can get at your local bank branch, though it isn't a typical local debit card account.

What do you get with the Payoneer MasterCard debit card?

  1. A physical MasterCard prepaid debit card.
  2. An online account linked to your MasterCard card which you can use to view your balance and transaction history, as well as manage your account and personal details.

How can you use it?

  • You can receive credit/debit card payments from anyone with Visa or MasterCard, from anywhere in the world. This service comes with a small processing fee per payment, and the maximum amount you can receive from a single credit card payment is $1000.

  • You can receive Direct Deposit payments from US-based companies such as Amazon and PayPal through Payoneer’s US Payment Service. The transaction fee for using the US Payment Service is 1% of the total amount transferred. You’ll then get paid directly onto your card, rather than having to wait for an international check and paying exorbitant clearing fees on your earnings.

  • You can receive online payments in USD from Payoneer-approved partners (for example: Elance, Fiverr, MediaWhiz, Media Shakers, and dozens more). Receiving payments this way is free for most partners and takes two days to load, although you can also pay an extra $2.50 if you need the cash within 1-2 hours of requesting it.

  • You can pay for goods and services online as well as in brick-and-mortar stores. It has the convenience of a credit card for online payments, with the beauty of a prepaid debit card since you cannot spend more money than you have in your account - i.e. you can't get into debt! There is no extra charge added to your purchases when you use the Payoneer card directly at a point-of-sale machine.

  • You can withdraw cash in your local currency from any ATM with the MasterCard logo visible on it somewhere – there are more than 1 million of these ATMs worldwide. The fee for a standard ATM cash withdrawal is around $3. This fee might sting a bit, but it helps me keep disciplined with my spending habits so I don't mind it too much.

If you don’t already have an account with one of Payoneer’s partners, you will want to sign up for your Payoneer card directly from the Payoneer website. The yearly card fee is $29.95, which is deducted from your balance automatically so you don’t have to worry about renewing it. There are no monthly maintenance fees when you sign up for your card via Payoneer's website.

Here's how to get your own Payoneer card + $25 bonus

Payoneer is running a special ‘Refer-A-Friend’ promotion for a limited time, meaning that if you sign up through an existing cardholder’s referral link now (like this one) you get $25 added to your Payoneer account when you have transferred over $100 in earnings or deposits to your card.

Deposits that qualify towards the $25 bonus include loads from your PayPal account to your Payoneer card using the US Payment Service, as well as from any other company on the US Payment Service Whitelist.

Applying for your card is quick, easy, and you don’t even need an existing bank account. Once you sign up online with Payoneer, your card is shipped to you at no charge.
