Baby Shower Cake

Hello bloggers! Finally, I'm back and exited to share my new cakes and recipes with all of you out there. This last couple of months I've been really busy baking cakes and working on my regular job, but I'm here and we're going to start with something special, a baby shower cake to mark my return on this blog and later I'm going to give you the cakes recipe.

Ingredients (chocolate cake):

  1. 400g butter
  2. 2 cups brown sugar
  3. 1 cup plain flower (1/2 cup)
  4. 1 cup self raising flour
  5. 1 cup Cadbury Cocoa
  6. 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
  7. 1 cup (250ml) milk
  8. 2 teaspoons instant coffee powder
  9. 1/3 cup (80ml) boiling water

Note:

Make sure you preheat the oven to 180'C, use an electric mixer to beat the butter and sugar, than add the eggs one at a time, beating well between each egg you put in a big bowl. Next, take the mentioned ingredients such as  plain flower, flour, soda and milk put them on a separate bowl and stir until those ingredients are combined. Finally, you bake the cake in preheated oven for 1 hour or when you see that the cake has baked enough it doesn't have exactly 1 hour. When you take the cake out of the oven make sure you set aside for 5 minutes.
This is a short description of a chocolate cake, if you want a fully detailed description fell free to ask. Hope you liked it. Take care!
